Mount Erebus is located in Antarctica. It is about 13,200 feet tall but other people say differ. Mount Rebus is active but hasn’t erupted in years. Some interesting facts about Mount Rebus are that Mount Rebus is the most active volcano in Antarctica. One of Mount Rebus’ 3 cones is active. James C. Ors discovered it in 1841 and named it after one of his ships. Men under T.O. Davis of Ernest Shakleton party climbed it in 1908. |
