Lassen Peak

By: Anne D.

Lassen Peak is located in the northern part of California. This volcano is 3,187 meters tall! It is very tall compared to many volcanoes. This volcano also is a dormant. Dormant is when the volcano still erupts, but doesn’t erupt as often as active volcanoes do. The last time Lassen Peak erupted was May 1914 through June 1917. When it erupts it erupts lava and mud. This volcano is so famous that Lassen Volcanic National Park is named after it!
