Mount Etna is in Sicily. It is18 miles from Catinia,
a city in Sicily. The mountain reaches the Mediterranian Sea. Mt.Etna
is active.It’s last eruption was July18, 2001. Mt.Etna is 460 squaure
miles. The bottem of the mountain is100 miles(160km). So far Mt.Etna has
had 200 eruptions before July 18, 2001. In 1669 the lava reached Catinia,18
miles of lava!
In the 20th century the eruptions were very servere.
