Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji is the biggest volcano Japan. It is 12,338 feet and 3,776 meters tall. The Volcano is dormant. The last time it erupted was in 1707. Mount Fuji is often hidden behind the clouds . Japanese call the mountain Fuji-ama or Fuji san. It has long slopes and more than 50,000 pilgrims climb to it’s summit every year. There is a legend that Mount Fuji was created in a earth quake in 286 bc. With legend and facts we still don't know when this large Asian volcano will erupt.
