Pices the fish, usally is seen in the sky through october and novemberin the northern hemisphere. it is represented by two fishes tied tigetherby their tails(which is the alpha star). this constelllation is not a bright one. the brightest star that is part of this costellationis the eta star, because the alpha star ties the fishes tails together. it is also called th knot. the stars, iota, theta, gmma, kappa, and lambda form the pentagon part of the constellation. the pentagon is south of the other constellation pegusus, which is also called the circlet. pices is the last sign of the circlet. pices is the last sign of the zodiac constellations. this constellation includes many double stars. pices was not a true greek constellation. |
